Hester handles traffic cases from our Melbourne office and represents clients in Melbourne and suburban courts.
Hester Kelly gained a lot of experience in the field of criminal law by previously working for Judge Howard in the County Court as an associate. Before becoming a part of our firm, Hester also served as a solicitor advocate for a different criminal law firm also based in Melbourne. Hester graduated from Monash University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Laws and received First Class Honours in Law. She fulfilled two internships with the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law, and further realised her deep interest in criminal law practice during her time at the Human Rights Advocacy Centre in Ghana. Her Honour thesis touched on the area of international criminal law with particular focus on justice mechanisms surrounding sexual violence against males in armed conflicts. Hester Kelly was also a volunteer at the HIV/Aids Legal Centre in Melbourne.
