About Doogue O’Brien George
Doogue O’Brien George is one of Victoria’s largest defence firms.
Established in 1995, partners Bill Doogue and Conor O’Brien were both acting for the Aboriginal Legal Service in the early 1990s as criminal lawyers when they decided to start a firm that specialized in criminal law. They opened their first office in Broadmeadows, followed in 2001 by a Melbourne CBD office, another in Heidelberg in late 2008 and Moorabbin in 2012. In February 2013, the firm merged with Andrew George Solicitors to become Doogue O’Brien George.
Doogue O’Brien George has defended over 10,000 criminal prosecutions and appear daily in all Victorian Courts from the Court of Appeal to every suburban and regional Magistrates’ Court.
